I think Interactive lessons are definitely the way to go for learning a language especially if it has audio included. Interactive language lessons can help the student hear, comprehend and write a language better than any book.

I have been learning Chinese for about two years now, and I find that if you can bring the MP3 lessons with you it helps you learn in the most unlikely of places; while waiting at the bank, sitting in the taxi or subway or by drinking coffee at Starbucks.
