Keyword Elite – Keyword Research Tool

Today we would review another keyword research tool – Keyword Elite. I love reviewing these kind of tools, because keyword research is my favorite topic. Every internet marketer knows how difficult it is to survive and succeed in the world of internet marketing. Keyword Elite is not a new product and has been there since some time. There have been regular updates of the tool being released by the team that has made this tool. I have been using this tool since the past year or, so and this tool has helped me reach the first page of Google in very less time for a number of my websites.

Features of the product -
Keyword Elite has quite a few features of interest.

1. Create a keyword list – The most difficult part in “Keyword research” is in making of list of relevant and related keywords. You would normally have to spend hours researching the various search engines and sites providing research data, to create a list of about 300-400 keywords. The first feature of Keyword Elite takes cares of this problem and can give you a list of about 10,000 keywords by researching the various search engines like Ask, Google and Yahoo in no time.
2. Analyze PPC listings – This features is the one that does most of the work for you. This project provides you with a detailed analysis of all the keywords that you you just created in the first feature giving you the approx. CPC, search results, Google broad match, phrase match and exact match along with the competition for each of these keywords.
3. Select a keyword list – This is similar to the first feature with the difference that here the keywords are searched for from the database of Keyword Elite to give you a list of keywords relevant to you “Searched term”.
4. Analyze keyword competition – This feature helps you in analyzing the competition for a list of keywords. You can decide on the number of positions on Google that you would want to analyze. It give you details like the “keyword density, occurrence of the keyword in the title, links, alt tags, keyword tags, description tags, H1 tags etc. thus helping you in SEO research as well.
5. Spy on Adwords competition – This feature is again a very useful one in case you want to check if your keyword is being used by competitors and if there are getting any success using that keywords.

There is quite a long list of features in Keyword Elite. What we discussed is just an overview of the features. You would get to know many of the other features within these braod ones, only after you use the tool. This includes features like adding a quote to keywords, adding brackets to keywords, managing your adwords campaigns, excluding words with certain terms in it, adding prefixes or, suffixes to a lits of selected keywords etc.

Ease of usability -
Keyword research is not an easy task. You have to spend some dedicated time and effort on keyword research in case you wish to benefit from it. So when you are talking about a tool that is going to help you in this task, I am sure you would certainly not be thinking that this is going to be a minutes job.

With the kind of features that Keyword Elite has, the usability is not going to be a cake walk. But the creators of this tool made it a point that they still make a tool that is easier to use. Though the ease of usability aspect is a “NEGATIVE” rating for us, but the tool is quite useful, so this can be lived with.

Keyword Elite has a very user-friendly interface. All accessible features are either available in tabs, or are readily available on the face of the application. We did not face any connectivity issues due to firewalls or, anti-viruses and found that everything that was required was a single mouse-click away.

Excellently designed interface of the tool makes using each feature, very easy. Also you can view and edit results on one screen itself.
